  1. This version of Genealogy on Display runs nicely on my A2000HD.  To make it
  2. run, I get a CLI and type:

  4.  STACK 20000
  5.  ASSIGN A: DF0:
  6.  ASSIGN B: DF2: (you may need to use df1:)
  7.  RUN DF0:MENU
  8.  
  9. and it loads and runs.  The program has been compiled, so there is no need
  10. to enter AmigaBASIC - just run it.  The 'readmefirst' file suggests a stack
  11. of 12000, but I kept getting crashes until I set it to 20K.

  13. I have added some icons to this file, and have tried to set them up to work
  14. as is.  The 'readme' icons expect a c: directory containing LESS, so I made
  15. a c: directory in the file.    If they just flash at you and do not load the
  16. files, check for Less in your c: directory.

  18. It is possible to enter the Stack and Assign commands from the CLI or from
  19. your startup-sequence, and then use the icon to run the program.  I have set
  20. the stack to 20000 in the supplied icon,   but you may need to add other ToolTypes
  21. to fit your own system.    Read about Tooltypes in chapter 1, pages 2, 3,
  22. and 12 of the Enhancer manual for 1.3.

  24. Unfortunately, the program did NOT run on my A1000 with 512K.  Even with
  25. most of the resident commands removed, it still reported that there was not
  26. enough memory.  I cannot recommend trying to use the program with less than
  27. 1M of memory.
